Imagine having x, y & z as the axis's!

If we could use x, y & z as the position & direction axis's we could make 3D games so easily using scratch!!!??  smile  hmm

Yes, it did.

I don't see how Scratch could have x, y, and z, but it'd be cool... but Scratch wasn't designed for 3D.

Re: Imagine having x, y & z as the axis's!

It certainly is an interesting idea, but even if it is on the Scratch Team's "To-Do" list, it certainly isn't anywhere close to implementation. As Fg123 said, it has been suggested many times, but with no particular response from the Scratch Team.

My personal opinion is that Scratch wasn't really meant to be 3d from the start.

Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: Imagine having x, y & z as the axis's!

you can do it yourself with a variable that controls the size of the sprit to make it look like it's going away or coming closer, simple and no need to add that z axis.

There's another Scratch-like program made by MIT (Can't remember the name though) that's 3D. You could google it or something.
