No need to worry, people. The end of the Mayan calendar didn't mean the end of the world.

It actually signifies the end of the Great Cycle, which was part of their religion. The end of the cycle was a celebration for the Mayan. On December 21, 2012 the Age of Aquarius begins. It had nothing to do with the end of the world. The documentary on the History Channel is fake, but for some reason they decided to show it anyway. Not a good decision, seeing as it scared countless people.

Still not convinced? You already know people thought 2000 was the end. But did you know there was one in 2003 that was almost the same as this 2012 one? The only difference with this is that it got blown way out of proportion, so this is more feared.

Conclusion: don't fear 2012. It'll be something we can all look back on and laugh at.

I don't think 2012 will happen. The extremely accurate Mayan calendar was said to have ended on the winter solstice of 2012, but it turns out that they actually found more of the calendar

Well bout Nostradamus...another reason that he isn't all right because rememebr bout 15 years ago(some of you might not have been born 15 years ago....) that Nostradamus predicted that there will be an earthquake and that earthquake would split California in half and the half will be an island and every body on it will die? Well turns out that there was an earthquake....and it was on the predicted day and guess what archmage? Millions of people jumped off buildings, killed them selves, and killed other people because they thought that it was the end of the world. 1 guy jumped out of his apartment and killed himself. Another family drove out California, burned down their home and found out it wasn't going to happen..so they killed themselves on the road....so Nostradomus could be wrong and i hope the California incident doesn't happen again....on 2012

The Mayan calender can start all over with the change of a star, so basically it can go on forever. 2012 will be a normal year, the world will probably end with some big war of all the nations.
