problem with a maze game

i have created a game on scratch. it is about this little bug which is running in the maze. in order to make the bug bounce on the edges, i set when the color on the bug is touching the color of the edge, move back10 step. this works fine, but for sometimes, the bug can go everywhere, and when it touches the line, the bug just fly across. by the way, the bug is controlled by the arrow keys. i will be very glad if you can answer my question, this is my school homework,  i will be very glad to know the answer.

Re: problem with a maze game

Can you upload the project with the bug?
Maybe when you put the arrow key script, add a point in direction block.

P.S.: 你讲中文吗?

Hai.

Re: problem with a maze game

I know what went wrong.

Let's say that the bug is touching the wall on the right side and its supposed to go backward. It wont work. To the computer, back is the left.

In your scratch program, there is a folder called "Examples" and there is a little pacman game. Use the pacman's script for the first game and then try to remember it so you can use it anytime.
Hope that helps!  smile
