We want AUTHORITEEEEHHHHH! xDYes, asterisks are SO cute!
The asterisk is there for multiplication. It means that there's twice the power! XD

Dunno if forum mods really need a symbol next to names outside the forums. But if we did, I was thinking of a tilde (~) would be a nice, interesting touch for a symbol representing a moderator (although I would also settle for the bland apostrophe ).
Or.. or... or a ♫!!!

What are the requirements for joining the Scratch Team?

Scratch team chose the moderators because they have been helpful right? I Think Moderators should have a symbol by their name off the forums because they are good people to go to if you have a question as well as the Scratch Team members.

You can't join. I think you have to work at the M.I.T media lab to even get close to being on the Scratch Team. But if you are a friendly and helpful member, they might appoint you to become a Fourm Mod.

I quoted myself because no one ever reads the posts in the middle!

I did read it. xP
Personally I understand the Scratch Team - anybody would have second thoughts about giving authority to a 14-year-old. And it's harder to track our actions on the main site.

What's wrong with giving authority to a 14-year-old? What matters is their level of common sense. Some 14-year-olds may be lunatics who spam, some may be intellegent people who act much older than their age*.
Oh, and a good sense of humor is vital as well.
*All right! I wouldn't give one authority either. xP

If they had second thoughts, then you would not be a moderator in the first place now would you?

He lives in Germany, so I don't think he's actually part of the scratch team, but I think he still works on scratch.
