where is a good site to get free mp3 files of songs?

Usually websites that offer those are illegal . . . BUT for short sound effects, I use Microsoft Clip Art Online. If you type in the sound you want, select sound in the search bar, and press OK, you can usually find sounds for whatever you want. And it is absolutely 100% free!

A good place to download mp3s at is Jamglue. Jamglue is a site where people remix songs using their built in mixing tool. However, some people prefer to download the music and mix it using other tools, such as Audacity or Mixpad. You have to sign up to mix or download, but they WILL ban your account if you download a bunch of songs and don't upload any mixes. Hope this helped (and that it still followed the rules).
