I have music files on my computer, and Scratch will not let me use them! I have cool music, but does Scratch not use .wav files? Maybe a Scratch administrator would know the answer?

Hey Tigerkidcub, the .wav file you are trying to import is probably in a format that Scratch cannot recognize. You will need a file converter (such as Audacity) to convert the file into a .wav file in Windows PCM format. Hope this helps!

Audacity is a sound editor program. You can download it here: http://download.cnet.com/Audacity/3000-2170_4-10058117.html
To convert your file, simply open it in Audacity and export it as wav (File/Export as wav). It should automatically save in the right format.

I just downloaded Audacity. My music sounds like a "blip". I also realized that some of my music files are in .WMA format. Oh... what do I do??

If it's a song, what's the name of it? I could probably get it for you and put it in a project. If not, I have another idea for what to do, but it's kind of complicated.

Well, I want to add a lot of music. I'll just search online for a converter. Some of the music is unamed.
