Re: Favorite forum type?

I find myself posting a lot in Show an Tell and Advanced Topics lately, but most of my posts are from I&M.

Re: Favorite forum type?

I like all of them, but I'm rather fond of the Suggestions forum.  wink

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: Favorite forum type?

I like Suggestions and All About Scratch. But here's the list:

Annoucements: Useful but boring and not much to post about.
New Scratch Members: Not that much to do.
Show and Tell: A whole forum for advertising! Yuck!
FAQ: You can't post your own topics, and not much to post about.
All About Scratch: Perfect! It's where you can get help on projects, and share facts and enjoy Scratch!
Advanced Topics: Only useful and nice to post in if you actually know what you're talking about. Not much.
Suggestions: Yeah! You can see the suggestions and give them your views. And see the nice ideas...
Troubleshooting: Interesting to read and you can see how to avoid some bugs. And you can post easily in there.
Sensor Boards: How easily can you post there? And how comfortable can you be in there? Hardly any. Yuck.
Educators: If you're not a teacher, you're not very interested.
Languages: It all depends on your language.
Inspiration and More: Yuck! You can actually post about un-Scratch related things and get away with it! I'd want it to go, but it has a slight relevance to Scratch (unlike the Text-Based Games), and you can do surveys in there. But you can do the surveys in All About Scratch, and the slight relevance is barely anything.
Text-Based Games: No relevance. But it's closed anyway. Of course, they're fun, but I prefer the parts of the Scratch Forums that are actually about Scratch.
Scratch Day: Not really that much...

How's that? I hope that was helpful...

I agree with text-based being gone.... But please dont start a campaign against inspiration!
