Strange (link to project) glitch!

OK, so someone asked me how to animate my picture. I gave them a link but it wouldn't turn into a link! Please help!

Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Re: Strange (link to project) glitch!

Make sure you put a space before and after the URL.

EG:
http://blah.com/blahblahblah.html! is wrong!
http://blah.com/blahblahblah.html ! is right!

Re: Strange (link to project) glitch!

It has to be a link inside the Scratch website...

The link was http://www.gifninja.com/. Enter at your own risk as there might be some inappropiate stuff on there.

Re: Strange (link to project) glitch!

Scratch does that to a lot of links, actually. :[ Can't the person just copy and paste it?

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

And you think it's supposed to say link to project?

Re: Strange (link to project) glitch!

And scratch only links to sites they know. Such as: http://www.google.com/ But if it's within the Scratch site you'll get (link to ____) such as http://scratch.mit.edu/forums Other sites, will have URL shown, but NOT clickable: http://koolykey.wordpress.com/

EDIT: I forget (link to ____) are different on the forums... And seems like http://koolykey.wordpress.com/ is reconized...

No. I expect it to say "http://www.gifninja.com/" . Can a mod change the name to "Strange link to website glitch"?

Re: Strange (link to project) glitch!

If you're writing it outside of the forums, it won't become a link unless it's within the Scratch website.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I meant in the comment, e.g. it won't say "(link to project)" in a comment if you type an external link.

Also, if you type "with education" it turns into a link. No joke.

If you do "education" with a word infront of it, it will do a link. I did "Lunar Educated" and it turned into a link!
