Hi downloaded Scratch.
Used it once.
Now when try to open the app, I get a Mac "open file" folder window,
Downloaded a fresh copy onto a different Mac.
Still get same problem.
So can't open the app at all.
I KNOW I'm missing some obvious , but what?

hmm, sounds like you have more than *.image file in your Scratch folder (maybe you accidentally copied the scratch.image file?), or you (accidentally) deleted the scratch.image file from you Scratch folder (perhaps because you believed it to be a picture of something).
Make sure you have just one single *.image file in the Scratch folder, and don't remove the Scratch.image file. That should solve it...
