This is a problem that has been bothering me for ages, and I have just witnessed a few seconds ago. It's to do with the Scratch Team's so called 'censoring'. Or as I like to call it, the Scratch equvilent of British 'Health and Saftey'. For anyone who doesn't know or doesn't live in Britain, this means it is being enforced to the point of being ridiculous.
If a member of Scratch is being unkind to another, the victim may post a project, and I quote, 'that contains attacks against another scratcher'. WHAT? The world must be coming to an end, because when I last checked, i.e. 2 seconds ago, if someone if annoying or bullying you to the point of insanity, it is perfectly normal to punch them in the face. Or the cyberspace equvilent.
Basically, yes, I can tell that you have to put a cap on the acceptibility of projects, but if someone is posting a project just because they are being driven insane, people should see it. Then the bully can be put to shame, banned, and life will go on.
Can someone explain why? Preferably a member of the Scratch Team who knows what is going on.

Please don't post projects attacking other users, if you have a problem with another user hit the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page, they will be dealt with appropriately. Thanks and scratch on!

Why not make peace or get it resolved nicely, rather than angering your enemy even more?
And anyway, it's the Scratch Team's choice.

When you share a project or make a Forum post making accusations against another Scratcher, it often quickly escalates into a very large and public flame war and a lot of people end up getting their feelings hurt. That is why we don't allow those methods of airing grievances.
There are many other ways to try and resolve conflicts with another Scratcher that are open to you. You can discuss the situation with comments, in a non-insulting, non-threatening way and try to resolve the issue. If the situation is not resolved, you can choose to have the Scratch Team address it using the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page. And of course, if comments or projects become threatening or insulting, you can always alert the Team by using the Flag feature.
Please be aware that in most societies "punch them in the face" is not an acceptable response and will usually lead to assault charges against you. The method most societies have designed involve making legal charges to be heard in a court of law.
I hope that helps. Please feel free to contact us directly if you still are having problems

I do know of a weird censoring. I typed in a comment that went exactly like this: "I do not remember saying anything bad. I'm sorry if i did say anything bad" I SWEAR TO GOD THAT IS ALL I SAID!!! Then a moderator tells me that it was censored because it was rude. What the...

Sorry if I'm too dramatic. I'm not usually like that. I was just trying to emphasize a point.
