This happens to a lot of people. Scratch seems to randomly pick newest projects. I've only ever seen mine on newest once.

its cached so every so often it will update and when it does it might skip yours!

Whatever it is, one thing is clear: it happens to lots of people. But don't worry, because your project will be on the Scratch Website eventually.

Acually, your project is on the website when it is completley uplaoded but doesn't always show up on "Newest Projects". 
Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Every 5 minutes the website takes a snapshot of the 3 latest projects. If there were more than 3 projects uploaded in the lapse of 5 minutes some projects will not show up. The reason why we take the snapshot every 5 minutes is because otherwise our server can get quite slow.

Let's admit it now, there are many members on scratch. So many, in fact, that scratch is getting many projects all the time! Someday, you will make it on! I know you will!!!!
