Lol I don't like any specific bands. xD
But I prefer instrumental stuff. ^^ Lyrics often distract me (I usually listen to music while doing something, like drawing ^^).
I enjoy OSTs, classical, and anything that doesn't hurt the ear and isn't too repetitive, and is skillfully made. ^,^
same
I listen to random music and not any specific band XD (worst part of that is when music gives you an assignment to look up about your favourite band)
I don't like lyrics as much (half off that is the fact that my sister, listens to a song and sings it for the next week or so constantly, and it gets repetetive
)
I have sensetive hearing, so I don't listen to stuff that hurts my ears either
About skillfully made, as long as I think it's skillfully made then I'm ok

Ugh, I despise Rap. It's just talking with a beat. There's no skill involved.
Yeah it's just like the newer version of a rhyme, except not as original
The music I like best is pretty much random music in games/tv's/just around

One of the reasons I don't like metal work so much
, though apart from that it's ok

Before, I listened to electro-house music but now I don't like that anymore.
I prefer progressive house like arguru by Deadmau5:

And I also like this:

I feel that progrsessive house is more calm and somewhat 'mature' than electro-house.
Deadmau5's new album contains some really good songs, I think you should check it out

House?..... *Reminds him of an inappropriate song* hmmm.... that was a great tune...
Hmmm? what? Oh yeah, thats right... Topic... Uhhhh... I just like the 80's rock. Whether it's metal, classic, hard, pop (Duran Duran, anyone?), ect.

Today's music is personally a bit of a letdown. The musical charts consist of Pop, full of hot women who can't sing without a computer editing half their voice and are only there as eye candy (Seriously, listen to Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah and compare to the original one, she ruined it), Rap, which to me are nothing more than nursery rhymes with coarser lyrics, and R&B, which I won't even get started on.
However, imo, there are still some good bands. My personal favourite being Paramore.

I could be thinking of the wrong song, but I bet you think what you thought was the original wasn't.
Tell me who you thought the original artist was.

Leonard Cohen.
Did you think I was thinking of the Paramore song? Because that isn't even the same song, just the same name.

No I was thinking of Leonard Cohen.
Most people think it was originally John Buckley 's (?) song.
However, Leonard Cohen is awesome.
I was at his concert a few months ago. It was truly amazing.
And everybody knows that its now or never
Everybody knows that its me or you
And everybody knows that you live forever
Ah when youve done a line or two

My fave bands: they're quite mixed: so I'll put then in different categories:
Classical:
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)
Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868)
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
Jazz:
Uh, really nothing. But I guess if I had to choose one I would say:
Nat King Cole
Classic Rock (1960s-1980s):
The Beatles
Queen
Harry Chapin
(I have a lot more, I just can't think of any)
I also like Dragonforce.
