The samsung sofboard site is down - has it gone ? It has not been updated for a while but we need it to create the jar file for downloading onto a mobile. Anyone know how to do this ? Anyone know the guys at Samsung who might release the code ? Can we have softboard back until there is a way to put current scratch onto a mobile ? PLEASE.

Unfortunately, since Softboard is NOT a division of Scratch, Samsung has its own rights to keep it running or not. It seems they think it doesn't continue. You can maybe ask one of the Scratch Team about Scratch Mobile, and you could even grab a beta(if it exists). I still wouldn't use Softboard, because
1. The HTTPS:// link on the login has expired. That is NOT a good sign.
2. It it supremely outdated.
3. I may be a bit insulting but Samsung wants money, not recognition. Scratch is for that.
4. Samsung's version isn't the best.
5. The JAR files are usually too big for your phone anyway.
There you go. That's the best I can tell you.

Scratch only gave them the licensing/permission for Scratch 1.1
