Sometimes, people like me think that some parts of the webpage needs some improvement.
Sometimes, people like me think there should be a better Scratch software.
Sometimes, people like me think that the forums need improvement.
All the time: People are looking for a new edition of Scratch!!!!!
If you go to the suggestion part of the forum, you can see literally hundreds of suggestions for new features.
And so far, I haven't seen one that suggest that you come up with the new edition faster....
So, I'm mentioning it here: WE NEED A NEW EDITION OF SCRATCH
Sorry for the CAPSLOCK, but I think it's about time for a new age of Scratch projects.
And that new age will come with a new edition of software.
Thank you...
And Scratch on!!

Oh gosh, you have absolutely no clue how long it takes to make this things. The folks who created scratch are constantly working to upgrade the program. It takes a lot of work to upgrade the program and the scratch team is doing their best. Wait a few months and you will get a new version of scratch.
Also, about the forums thing. I know you want them to put a pm system in but they won't because people may harass other users using it.

You're not being nice Heybrian, treat people with resoect, it's not ;ike you're the master of scratch or anything, your projects aren't even as good as some simple projects that take 5 min. to make, you have not right t be mean to everyone.
Also, Archmage is correct, I've worked on software making and it takes A LONG LONG TIME!

You are making mean jokes that people DO NOT find funny, you think your so funny but you're not, you are mean, I mean, How would you feel if I said on a project of yours that you think is good"This sucks!", and then said "Oh, it's just a joke.", wou;d you let it go, or would your feelings be hurt?(Ritorical Question, DO NOT ANSWER!)

1. I know about how long it takes to make software. I've gotten my hands on them once. In fact, it took me about a month to make a useful calender without the computer clock. However, the Scratch team basically said NO to most of the things in suggestions, so I guess that there will be a little less updates. And they have more people working on it. So, naturally, I assumed that they would take less time to fix the bugs... my bad.
2. I know about the PM. I kinda quitted complaining about it a few days ago. Anyway, I was talking about the software, not the webpage.

The Scratch Team has not said "no" to very many ideas (mainly the idea of serving to deliver e-mail to people, and possibly the idea of allowing URLs in projects). Many of the other ideas they are experimenting with to see what works without making Scratch too complicated. I hope they adopt some of Jens's user-interface improvements.
Jman and Heybrian, stop the bickering, or you may both end up getting banned. Re-read the Terms of Use about showing respect.

I agree!! I saw the "Chirp" Jens made! Her suggestions must be even better.

Well, they are showing respect. They're just "discussing something in a heated manner".

Well, except that.

The PM system is off topic.
As for a new version of Scratch I don't really mind if they make anither one I don't know if there is a newer version as i'm on 1.1 still.

Thanks for your interest on a new version of Scratch. We do listen to your suggestions and pick those that align with our own goals. A lot of the features in Scratch version 1.2.1 came out of these forums and people like you. Cheers.
