I win, but I will stop posting on this topic FOREVER if the next poster can solve these problems:
Sally was walking along, when she found a dime. She put it in her pocket. She now had 23 cents in her pocket. Sally had only one pocket. She walked some more, and picked up 3 more coins. She now had 30 cents in her pocket. Sally met up with Billy. Sally and Billy made a bet. Whoever ran to school first wins 4 nickles and 1 dime. Billy won. Billy now has $1.73.
1. Before Sally found a dime, how much money did she have?
2. What were the 3 coins Sally found after she found the dime?
3. How much money did Sally have after the bet?
4. Before the bet, if Billy had 4 nickles and 1 dime less than his current money, how could he have this money using the least amount of coins/bills possible?
If you get each one correct, I won't reply. If you miss one or more, I will reply. If the first person got it wrong or didn't bother to solve it, than I will continue posting here.
