Hey Shannon09, welcome to Scratch!
If you would like to introduce yourself, it is better to do so in the New Scratch Members section rather than posting in irrelevant topics.
Scratch on!

37 members have gone for Mod, wow. How many are going to be chosen, or will it just grow out gradually?
1 mod for every 10 members
or
1 mod for every 5 members?

3 or 4 will e chosen out of all of us. I hope I'm one of them. I've got vouches from MRN, cheddargirl, greenflash and more.

Can I be a moderator? I don't want to sound really needy and pathetic, but I'll try to give a few good reasons why I should be a moderator without doing that:
If you take a look at my comments and forum posts, then (assuming you look at the right ones) you'll see that I like to be helpful, and try to explain things to the best of my ability.
I encourage new scratch members when they post projects, the number of people who quit when nobody likes their project is unbelievable. So I tell them that they've done a good job, and usually give them some tips.
I have been a scratch member now for 5 months, although it seems like a whole lot more.
I would say that my projects are of quite good quality, in paticular my mathematical projects and my game Black n' White. I have over 100 projects.

Steppen: If you've voted, you can click "View Election results" ( So Far! Remember that! ) and go the bottom of the page and see who's most chosen and least chosen. ( Top to Bottom )

Andres has asked me to create a TBG moderator election on Selectricity.org. It includes everyone who has asked to be a Text-Based Games moderator on this thread and on the New Election Speeches and Nominees thread.

Why is everyone disappointed with the Scratch Team?
They're probably spending time trying to sort the TBG's out for us, when they could be working on other aspects of the site
I say it again ^_^ we just have to be 'patient'You are right! They are probably making the new URL, and then after that they will delete TBG...
I found a URL that I think might be the new forums, but the Scratch Team will have a reason for the delay
Edit: It's out so...
www.scratch.mit.edu/tbgforums
Nice Find!

Please vouch for me!
I havent gotten any yet, and I REALLY REALLY want to help the scratch community. I would devote 80% of my time to be a moderator in the TBG.

o.O Jonathan, why are telling everyone I was telling the truth
But that is the URL, I don't see how it could cause problems, I only kept it hidden because the Scratch Team might not want it everywhere at the moment ^_^

For all those complaining about the TBG's still being here, I think they're going to exist until the new mods are chosen now
Oh, don't worry?
