I was browsing the forums and I noticed DawnLight was banned. I checked out his projects and it seemed like he was very enthousiastic about scratch and had nothing but good intentions. why was he banned

He used to be my good friend on Scratch, but then he totally screwed over and starting cursing at his friends such as ScratchX and fruit for no reason whatsoever. And the weird thing is, no one knows why he did that.

Looked into it and, yes, that's what DawnLight's ban report says: the account has been blocked because it was hacked (there's no mention of Tag4Eva being the hacker), with a message to DawnLight to contact the Scratch Team to have it unbanned.

I suspected it was hacked as soon as I saw the random swearing coming from that account. It was just too unlike him/her.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

So THAT'S what happened. Gawd, no one tells me anything.
Wait, if DawnLight is able to unban himself now, why didn't he do it yet? He was a great help to the Scratch community, not to mention a really awesome guy.

Scratch has change a LOT since you left. The Text-Based Games (Now called TBG by everyone, I think demosthenes coined the term) are being deleted. They were supposed to be deleted two days ago, but they haven't done it yet.
Cheddargirl became a moderator.
I acheived 3000 posts.
Archmage, deatheater, and fireball123 have left.
My old Brawl Thread died a little while ago.
The-Whiz has become extremely popular in the last few months.
Signatures will be shrunk to the appropriate size if they have a larger height than 150.
