I also think you have to have the old password to change it.

If you ever click http://scratch.mit.edu/contact/us you have to give them your email so then they would know. i doubt they keep track of whos is whos though.

Although, there is a "password question" where it aks's you to answer the question and if you get it right they will give you your password right?

I dont actully think they KNOW the password, but i think the computer saves it in a large file (has everyones) and they could probably check that file for yours.

how about this MIGHT be right C/program files/IE-Moxilla Firefox-other/Saved passwords/scratch.mit.edu/(whatever your user is called).txt but it only has the names of the ones YOU made on that PC/Mac

I once forgot it, so my dad emailed the scratch team and they changed it to somthing difrent that i could change back to my first one.
but it is a good idea...

Then anyone would know your password!
If I said I was you, they would change your pass so I could get on it.

We only change password and send them to the email address used during the creation of the account. If there is no email address other ways of confirming the identity are needed.
