okay, they are moving TBG to a different part of the site, right?
well what difference does it make that it is some where else on the web site? wouldn't all the reasons against it still apply?
and if so, wouldn't it just be easier to leave it where it is? or simply recruit more willing mods to help moderate the forums? you'd have to do it any way for the new text based games site thingy.
also:
• A site like "New Grounds" has text based games in their forums right? and they still get along nicely...
• why suddenly delete it now? think of the reasons why it was created in the first place
that's what i think. respect my opinion, as i have respected yours

There are two reasons:
1. The Scratch moderators won't have to moderate the Text-Based Games any more (it's been a burden to them).
2. The Text-Based Games aren't relevant to Scratch.

"2. The Text-Based Games aren't relevant to Scratch" so why bother moving it?
"1. The Scratch moderators won't have to moderate the Text-Based Games any more (it's been a burden to them)." why not just get the mods from the "new" tbg to moderate the ones we have now, instead of getting them to moderate in the new one?

But the reason it was created in the first place was so that the forums wouldn't be cluttered up.

1. Isn't moderating ANYTHING a burden? Why do they even moderate ANYTHING?
2. Neither is Inspiration and More. But it inspires people to make projects in scratch. In fact, some projects aren't relevant to scratch. IN FACT, some galleries aren't relevant to scratch. IN FACT, if you really think about it, a lot of things in scratch aren't relevant to scratch. If you put it like that, NOTHING is relevant to scratch except scratch itself (which has a TBG in it).

I still can't understand the reasoning behind "It's not related to scratch, so it shouldn't exist".
If you look, there's 4 sections of the forums: "Scratch", "Scratch in Other Languages", "Other", and "Archived Forums". The unrelated-to-scratch topics go in "Other", while everything else goes in the other sections. If IaM and TBG were mixed in with everything else, that would be one thing, but right now they don't disturb each other in any way. And just looking at other forums that have TBGs, it seems well-placed to me.

People sometimes Scratch just for the Text-Based Games. If the Text-Based Games gets moved, people will go to there instead.
Why have something in the Scratch Forums that is completely irrevelant?

1. Idiot. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard (even more than when someone said that invisible text was useless because you could still highlight it). If there weren't moderators, there would be tons of bad language, advertising, spam, etc.... can't people actually use their brains?
2. Inspiration and More deserves to go too, but it has a slight relevance to Scratch... but it does deserve to go.

Do you think that Microsoft should market their own breakfast cereal? No. It's practically the same thing.
Just have "Other" marked in the forums does nothing except admit that it's unrelated to Scratch.
Who said that Inspiration and More was disturbing Text-Based Games?

Isn't it better to have a different website for something that is irrevelant?

Why is it always me who has to explain everything to these people who don't know anything? Haven't I done enough? I've kept at it, writing threads, arguing, explaining things... the arguing and explaining to all of those people is really exhausting.
Why me?
When will I get a "Thank you" from the Scratch Team? At least a simple mention of me or a bit of credit? It seems exaggerated, but I honestly feel tired of all this. At least I don't have to write the threads any more...
That's enough of that post.
