Yeah, when your on a rolling crate (the one's with wheels) if you attack it while on it, it goes flying with you on it 
Of course you need a slope unless you have:
Lucas, Ness, Fox, Falco
And that's all that I have actually tested XD
Though Box surfing isn't very useful out of training mode as it's hard to get rolling crates

Try using Gannondorf's utilt on a rolling crate.

Also try CF's Utilt and Down Smash.
