Nearly every project I make is below the 40fps maximum online and outside presentation mode and it's driving me crazy. Is there any way I can optimise my games (my recent ones only use movement by the way) without removing graphics (very little of those too) and functionality?

I managed to get GQ2 to run 30 fps in presentation mode . . .

At 20fps Games go slower than intended. Maybe code that alters the velocities depending on fps would help make games move faster, but would still leave that jitter.
My one script game LINE does work faster than many platformers, but this is mainly because of the bg position code making long levels print only 3 images at a time.
