I have gotten in to a lot of new things lately and forgot about the Scratcher Newspaper. Some people are disappointed that it died down, so I'm going to try to bring it back to life. However, like I said before, I am in a lot of new things. For example, my new series, Food Story, is taking up a lot of time. So, because of this, I am putting the Scratcher Newspaper under new management. You can run for new manager if you have worked for the Scratcher Newspaper. But, you can vote if you aren't a member. When you run for manager you can make a speech, advertise yourself, and do anything (except be mean, rude, etc,). If you are voting for manager, please vote for the person you think is best candidate. Not just because (s)he's you friend or if nobody else is voting for him/her. To run, please post you position (cartoonist, reporter, story writer, etc,) and your username. You can also post a speech if you want. Voting will start on November 1st and end November 5th. Good luck and may the best candidate win!

Hello scratchers, I am running to be the manager of the Scratcher Newspaper. I think I would be a good canidate because I am an active user of Scratch. I read the newspaper and think I could give it some good news and posibly even suggest a new layout. I would never boss around the other staff. I would be respectful and friendly. Some changes would come to the newspaper if I am decided to be the manager. I think since dragon eggs are not as popular now, the ads could be for projects that are intresting, and if the user that made the game would be willing to make the ad we could display it.The ads could also showcase contests like the Scratch Olimpics. There would be about 3-5 comics in each issue. The interviews would be for a variety of audiences. I would make sure the newspaper is more Scratch related too. Those are some of the reasons I think I would be a good Scratcher Newspaper manager.

I think I should be the new manager because news stories are something I actually like to write. I can easily keep track of something like this, make sure deadlines are met, positions are filled, etc., and make sure the paper's topic doesn't fall into the higher numbered pages of it's section, bumping when necessary. Plus, I'm open to the idea of having co-managers if I'm elected, so it isn't just me if others want to help. I think that I would do well managing the Scratch newspaper.

I enjoyed the Scratcher Newspaper, it'll be cool to see another issue.
