Stats on User Page
I would like if you could see some of the stats from projects on a users page. Like Total Love-its, Total Views, Total Projects Etc. I think this would be good because many people would be interested in this information, and it help us compare.
A new idea is for the stats disscussed above to only be showed to the user. I would like this, as it can help me know how well a certain project did over others, discover trends and use those patterns. We don't need it for everyone to see, but that is another option.

I agree, but I remember sometime back that this would cause problems of people not getting many views causing them to leave Scratch and this is already happening anyways so it would only get worse.

That is a valid point, but doesn't the viewcount on projects do the same thing? This just condenses everything into something easy to see in one place.

I don't agree, sorry.
But it's only because nowadays, people seem to think that getting the most views is the only thing Scratch is about. it's about having fun and learning, it is not a popularity contest.

Some stats are good, like location, sign up date, and number of projects but not love its or views. The it just becomes a contest to see how many people can make their half done projects get the most views.

I disagree with this. Projects stats would be more destructive than helpfull. They would become a source of bragging rights, and become a contest to see how many people can make their half done projedts get the most veiws, as archmage said.

Fg: But then that still will make them leave and brag, why not the opposite? Everyone else can see but not you? Cause then you don't know but they do and the only way for you to know is to ask someone else.
