A new forum for the Text-Based Games

I was just looking around the "Closing of the text based games" topic, and this happened:

User1 wrote:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT ARE YOU THINKING SCRATCH TEAM???????????????????????????????????????

User2 wrote:

Jeez, lighten up, there's gonna be another website. Besides, _______were the one who made "The Random Forum" and can't you guys just use that?

Hey...that's a good idea!

I'm NOT joking...I think it could work.

I censored out the names as well as I could. I really think it would be a good idea to make the new TBG Forum the Random Forum because not ONLY does it have different category for forum games, it has anything you could imagine. It even has a scratch section! Here is the link for it: http://www.punbb-hosting.com/forums/TheRandomForum/index.php

Why would you censor them? I mean seriously! Everyone knows that Jonathanpb did it!

Okay, guys...I censored them out so this wouldn't get closed. But, apparently, it doesn't matter because people are saying the names now.

Wow, that user2 guy must be awesome!

lol jk

Anyways, The Random Forum still WOULD be a good place for it, I've told many people that, it's just that the TBG people won't listen.

Re: A new forum for the Text-Based Games

Andrés has asked for the website to be http://scratch.mit.edu/someotherwebsite . Did anyone read his sticky? Honestly... and he said that if there are enough supporters and things, he'll make a website for it. So please stop making your own websites!

Another ignorant person. If you bother to look, I have never said any of that stuff. But I have suggested it, but why do you hate me just because of that? I just voiced my opinion! I'm not an idiot just for voicing it!

By the way, the only difference between me and the supporters is that I wrote the topics and started it.

People are just sore because they only use the forums for playing their games. So they'll act like that  sad

Someotherwebsite was just an example.  wink

And itºs obvious that this suggestion will happen, as Andres mentioned in the TBG sticky, so why bother to post it?

Hmm, I'm not sure whether the Scratch team intended of making it themselves with the fact there hunting for mods etc:

But it's a nice idea  smile  and everyone is going crazy because they are 'being deleted' when they're moving >.<

Actually, it's only going to be made if there are enough moderators and plenty of support.

Yes, someotherwebsite was just an example.

Well it would be a good idea if they did because:

-If they moved it to the random forum there would be tons of members from TBG, so there would need to be tons of mods that volunteered to be mods already.

-Not only will it have different categories for different TBGs, it has any category in the world.

-It is already made and has some members (in case no one came to the new forum and it just sat around doing nothing in the middle of the internet).

-It has PMing (which TBGers love).

-It has a ranking system AND a point system (with a bank, lottery, and a donate button for you to give points to other users).

If they did make it the offical forum I'd be extremely surprised and happy. And we'd need another mod too.
