The Final Hours of Text-based Games?....

i suppose the text-based games is coming to its final hours....

well for one, i thought that the text-based games should stay, but now i've read the arguments against it, i sort of agree.

what are your thoughts on the deleting of TBG?

i think it wont be long before chains and chains of "sign if you want text based games back" remix projects start popping up on the front page...

It's a relief, at first I liked it but now I don't, I stick to inspiration & more and the other forums.

Why are there so many topics about this can't you use the one created by Andres instead?

Tbg 2 Stay!

And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door; And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming, And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor; Quoth the Wolfie-Nevermore!

@Wolfie: I like your sig, but they're called The Angels. They're playing best out of 7, right?

On topic:
Final hours? Farewell ye Text Based Games, even though I completely hate you...

I think it's obvious what I support. I completely hate the Text-Based Games.

It'll be closed in approximately six days.

Re: The Final Hours of Text-based Games?....

IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN (Now the song's stuck in your head)

They're not being deleted, they're being closed and moved. It's much more practical.

Some words about the last couple of weeks. Looking back, everyone was just pushing their opinions into the other side's face, then getting all of their arguments turned against them and sent back as if they don't count. Repeat, starting with the other side. That's when the insults start flying. No wonder it evolved into a flame war so quickly.

Sorry if that sounds like a harsh way of putting it, but it wasn't exactly civilized.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

meh.. I don't really care, it's being moved, that's fine.

Oh, and hmnwilson, make the color gainsboro, not whatever you made it. It's still visible text.

Re: The Final Hours of Text-based Games?....

I think that it was the correct choice. I didn't really check TBGs anymore, because I felt they were pointless other than to get a little fun, but most of them were boring to me.
Edit: 1776th post! I'm patriotic!
