I'll vouch for you.

Dream-Caster is a valuable member of scratch. He is very generous and caring, and wants to bring out the best in the community. The elite list covers some great scratchers, but I think it's dream-Caster's time to shine. I'm not saying this just because he's my friend. I went in and viewed how courteous the candidates were, and Dream-Caster blows them out of the water. He will take action where action is needed, and I know he will do a great job in keeping scratch clean, kind, and helpful.

Yes. Can't we all be chosen? Just the people in MyRedNeptune's list?
If you were all chosen, the population would be 90% moderators. And only trustworthy people should become moderators, or the bad ones could just edit posts, plant a fake [Removed] thing in a post and accuse the person of being bad; you get the point. It would be horrific.

I'm still looking over MyRedNeptune's List of Moderator Candidiates. So I will be coming back to this post and editing it over time.

I would like to be a mod for the following reasons,
1 I have experience moderating on some forums,
2 I been on scratch for awhile on some other accounts before this one and I flag inappropriate stuff any chance i get,
3 I am on scratch every day.
I have watch scratch grow and I showed my friend Dolfus555 scratch and he created the best project ever on top loved with over one thousand love its.Super mario galaxy, although he has moved on to xbox live XD hahaha. I have made many friends BEFORE they became "famous".I plan to stay on Scratch for awhile and I don't plan on leaving.Text based forums was most likely the best thing that happened to this site (besides the curse filters) and I love role-playing.I been role-playing ever since i signed up on neopets so i would like to encourage the recreation of this forum and might possibly help by being a moderator.NO WAY!
Rude!
sorry, your a cool scratcher and all, i just think some one with a better reputation would make a better mod.

Just a few questions I'd like answered:
1. Approximately how many moderators are you planning to elect? (I'd hope two, three, or four)
2. Will you be able to use your Scratch user for the new website? (I am very sure that it's a yes, judging from what everyone says. But it's nice to know officially)
3. Will you be moving in all of the old games? (It's common sense, but then again, I'd like to know officially)
4. Will the old Text-Based Games posts be removed from the post counts? (I'm fine either way)
5. Will the posts in the new website change your post count in the Scratch Forums? (I'm fine either way in this also)
6. Will the posts in the Scratch Forums change your post count in the new website? (Yes, I'm fine either way)
Yes, the website might not be created. But if it does, I'd like to know these things.

o.O I don't think mods are there for being famous O.o
Mods are there because the Scratch team thinks they can help keep things under control etc:

Probably 4, as the Scratch forums have 4... MyRedNeptune, JSO, cheddargirl, and one more person...

Shame to see the TBG forums go because it created a lot of exciting topics and competitive games. It's a shame that some people didn't see it this way. I didn't take part in many of the games, but looked around some of the better ones from time to time. I just felt that it was too crowded for just one sub-forum.
However, I am glad to see that there will be a new main forum when TBG is closed as it should invite a lot more people (including me) to take part in since it won't be as crowded. This being because the obvious idea is to create sub-forums for each type of game that was in the orginal sub-forum; RPGs, Rating, etc. This would allow for people to go to there favourite types of games instead of having to look through pages in one list.
I've been on Scratch for probably two years now, on two accounts; Dan01 and Mozaz. Even though I don't get recognized by everyone, I am sure that a few people know me (Lanie for example) and enjoy my posting. It's always been a goal of mine to become a moderator on a website as I like to have authority and help otheres.
I would like to become a moderator on the new Text-Based games forum because I seem to be one of the only UK people here so I would be able to moderate the forums when maybe others aren't online. Also, I know that I would be fair and be part of the community.
Thanks
