For scratch 1.5, don't you think it would be awesome if it included the Chirp Compiler, BYOB, Mesh, and of course, showing and hiding lists. It should all be included so we don't have to install different programs.
What's your opinion?

Very good idea. The chirp compiler may very well happen, as Jens is on the scratch team. However, it does go against the whole 'open source' idea, so that may be the the fly in the ointment. Mesh was removed because it was too confusing. So that will hopefully be fixed in 1.5, but with something that complicated, don't count on it.

That poses another problem.
A previous beta had 'procedures,' very similar to BYOB.
However, it was dropped on the premise that it would be confused with broadcast blocks. However, what would be nice is at least scratch to be compatible with BYOB projects, so that that functionality can be implemented if desired, without clogging up the IDE.
