That sounds a bit like some of the other font related bugs we've encountered...such as the disappearing text bug. Have you tried saving the project, shutting Scratch down, and then reopening it?

That is what i was doing to get back to it, but then it happened again, with the text disapearing in the paint editor, and then it acts as 1.2 having its old layout.

YES! (As Captain Falcon would say) that happened to me too when i was developing Human Body RPG (probably the most glitches occured with Scratch when I was developing it EX: text all dissapeared 
)
All you have to do is save and quit and open Scratch again, it should be fixed...

I know, but for some reason now it is happening more often. I just click something in the paint editor and it happens.

Scratch deleted all my text except in the paint editor. Then, when I close the paint editor the text reapears just for that costume. I tried saving, shutting down Scratch and then reopening but it didn't work.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Hmm, have you got both 1.4 and 1.2 installed?
It sounds odd, but perhaps Scratch/Computer is confusing the two?
It's happened to me and my Windows live messenger before 
I had 3 different versions installed (don't exactly know why o.o) and they continuously opened wrong things in the wrong places until I got rid of the older versions x)

Hey scratcher2, posting in other peoples topics about your Scratch problems makes it harder for other Scratchers to see the problem you have. Please create a new topic in the 'Troubleshooting' forum section instead of bumping an old topic. Thanks, and Scratch On!
