Programming skills for rent

I got the idea from GoogleplexPlus...

Anyway, anyone want a programmer's services? I'm good with the pen, lists & variables, and basically anything to do with programming in general, but you have to provide your own graphics.

Re: Programming skills for rent

I was wondering when you'd run out of ideas...  smile

Unfortunately, I'm stuck too, so I can't help you.

Re: Programming skills for rent

I ran out of ideas before I could make anything.

That means, even though I know everything I need to know to make a game, I'm stuck on this rock.

BTW, maybe we should make a guild called "Programmers for Hire".

Re: Programming skills for rent

I could see the-whiz doing fractals on scratch. So that's what I suggest. Good luck!  smile

Re: Programming skills for rent

Sigh... I'd LIKE to make a game, I'm just so totally stuck on these parts:
-Art (how come the Spriter's Resource disappeared? oh well, I guess I'll have to use the Shyguy Kingdom)
-Level Design (hardest part of any game for me is coming up with a decent level)
-Ideas (well, duh)

It's good to know that you are willing to help people... and you are a good programmer.  big_smile

Actually, I prefer working myself.  smile

So do I, but every so often I run out in the ideas department...

Re: Programming skills for rent

After October 24th when Square Rush is released, I'll be up for working.

Or I could just put a sign around my neck saying "Experienced freelance Scratcher looking for some work in programming or art".

lol

I completely agree. Spriter's resource was a big help, and now like they're too poor to renew the domain  neutral . Level Designing is also difficult, as you have to be creative while challenging while not too difficult, and not frustrating to play and stuff. And ideas, well, thats mildly difficult.

Re: Programming skills for rent

I could possibly work with this Programmer's Guild....Although atm I'm busy working on my SSB game. The basics are covered, I just have some things to do while I'm waiting for Keroro645 to finish drawing the sprites. Atm, I am adding comments on what everything pretty much does in the game. I also have to work on some other small things. When I finish the game, I'll make my own version which I'll just play with my friends and stuff, because of the 10MB limit  smile . Suprisingly only one song took up 8MB of my game o.O
