I don't see a link, but I think I know what you mean.
If you have the instructions as a background on the stage use code like this:
When green flag clicked:
Change costume to MAIN (usually yo make this number 1)
When I receive "Instructions"
Change cotsume to INSTRUCTIONS (maybe number 2).
