Hey, Does anyone know how to make a real time (GMT) clock? As in like 12:00 AM, and it actually measures minutes, hours, but other things that the character does in game (for us would be seconds) but it would take 3 hours in the game... My game is based on adventure, and it would only make sence with a clock.

If you want to get the time from the computer's clock, then no. But it's certainly possible to make the user set the time in-game before it begins. It might have a complicated script, though.

Scratch has no way of knowing what time it is, besides input at the start of the project. Date and Time blocks have been suggested, but it's unknown if they are going to be in a future version of Scratch.

Here's a cool way paddle2see incorporated a real-time clock, though it involves using the sensor connection feature:

That is almost perfect... I just don't know what python is
I heard its a programming language script thingy that has something to do with Scratch and Java, but I've never seen it, nor do I want to spend my time learning it, (unless its worth it.) So... any other alternatives?
And I don't mind asking others to imput at start.... I just have no clue what the script will be.

lolz. Well, nobody has ever regretted learning Python
But I would say, other than that, there is no way to access the system clock directly via Scratch 1.4.

I made the image for script 1! It is at the following link:

I will make picture 2. The user has to specify the time first though:(.
Afterward, I will finish the game. Keep Scratching!

I think the other picture is at http://FastFreeFileHosting.com/file/271 … 2-gif.html. Okay? So, now I will make the game.

Nice Necro-posting, I already created a project tutorial about this a long time ago after posting this topic of course. Nice try~
