I am sorry if this has already been mentioned, but i would like to be able to group sprites. When i get to making a big project i have a huge list of sprites that i dont want to have to look through all the time to edit their scripts, so what i propose is a feature where you can make a folder where you can drag the sprites you want into their. For example if you had mutilple enemie sprites you would put them all in this one folder and name it Enemies or something...and then you could make a script that effects every sprite in that group. Some like If "part of group" touches blue broadcast game over...not a very good example i know, but this is just one feature i really wish scratch had. Thanks

That's actualy a really good idea, Heiberger! A better way would be to have a large folder for grouping sprites, ei enemy sprites, and have a sub-grouping folder within the larger grouping folder for putting sprites that you wanted to be affected by a single script.

I like it! The next bit to think about, considering it's approved, is how to manage it. I suggest two tabs above your sprite pallette. One of them shows your sprites, and the other shows your folders.

One roundabout solution is to use an XML format for scratch. I am developing one, and it will allow you to edit the text of the project. This allows find and replace, as well as such sprite organising as is mentioned.
