Well I happened to have posted a normal comment on one of my Friend's projects, and just this morning I noticed I got a message (maybe I technically got it yesterday) that it wasn't posted because it may have used bad language. Although it did say that it sometimes makes mistakes. All I said was something like "Holy * wierd -.= For some reason...." and then critiquing on a glitch in the game. I'm wondering if holy * is like automatically censored. Because its not really a bad word. Its not like saying, holy s- if you know what I mean.

(re-read this after posting) * is censored? Its like saying 'Darn!'. That is just stupid....

For those administrators who have put that as something not to show -- modern society is changing, and I live in it every day at school with modern gossip and such. Its not even moderately bad. And believe me, I am the average age of most of the kids on this website. This website has kids from 9-13, and I'm about 11, so like....

Is it possible that before this wasn't censored, and just recently an administrator, or forum mod, changed this to the website?

Well, here's what could have happened:
1-Some kid or someone could have been offended by you saying "Holy *" and flagged the comment
2-It may be auto-filtered, so if that were the case, just don't use words like that, they aren't needed anyways(I say them alot but I don't say them on sites =P)

Just avoid saying things like that, it can bug people and can be (sometimes) offensive and/or rude.

Don't mean to be lecturing you, just trying to help.

Modern society may be changing, but it doesn't mean we have to give in and start taking up all those other words. Why can't we just go with "Argh" or something?

While some do not consider it to be an offensive term, others do view it as an offensive cuss word. The word in question was recently added to the forum filter list just recently (which is why you see it censored now).

This happened to me once when I was replying to a comment by TheSaint.

It was a perfectly normal comment, no curses, no bad grammar, no nothing, but it didn't go on and 5 minutes later I got that same message. I was like, *?

All I can say at this point is well... idk really. Chrischb, well you have your points. Every website is different.... though 'Argh'? You failed: It's a comedy....lol. Anywayz....

Vivard, no it was auto-filter I'm pretty sure. Whatever. I guess a mod can close this topic. I mean I don't say it a lot on the website.

Lucario, I`m actually 7 and I go on on this site, And the moderators check the number of flags on that comment then it is censored!
