Proxy

Hello,

Is there a way to configure Scratch to use a proxy server to allow sharing of project from within my school?

Thanks!

Re: Proxy

Currently, there is not. But we might possibly be able to add a crude mechanism to support this (based on editing a text file with the settings). Could you describe the proxy setup for your school? Does your proxy server uses port 8080 rather than port 80?

Re: Proxy

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. The school's proxy server uses port 80 for HTTP.

Re: Proxy

Are you able to see the projects on this website just fine? Is your problem only on the upload of projects?

Re: Proxy

I can see the projects on the website and play them in the browsers JVM. It is just the uploading from within Scratch that doesn't work. Projects can be uploaded manually however using the proxy settings in the web browser (Firefox/IE)

Re: Proxy

This is exactly the issue that we are having as well.  Was a solution developed for this?
