Did you come here expecting that this was the place to learn about the secrets of some unknown order? Or to find out how stupid this order may be?
The order Araneae means any of numerous arachnids having eight legs, a body divided into a cephalothorax and an abdomen, and several spinnerets that produce silk to make webs, nests, or cocoons (in some cases hinges) for trapping insects (their prey).
In other words, we are going to discuss how smart your everyday and not-so-everyday spiders are.
Did you ever know that the spiders you find in your home then release outside will run back towards your house? This proves they have a good sense of direction and know where the safe haven is.
Also, occasionally the spider, if kept in a sealed container, will crawl around the cracks looking for a way out. If it doesn't, it begins to wait for someone to release it.
However, keeping it in a clear container, I noticed some were afraid to climb the clear parts and others were afraid of my hand (which was actually safely behind the glass).

Spiders aren't that clever. They crawl into your mouth and get digested while you're still sleeping.
Now that I've given topic readers some disturbing facts (And possibly nightmares?) I depart this topic.

Did you know only one kind of spider does that? They're called Araneae Stupidis.
Just kiddin', folks! I really hope that those who believed me see this.

I'm sure that's from weeks of infection from the bite, no spider could inflict that kind of wound with just one bite all by itself without giving it some time.
