That was her den. but there was also another, uneven ledge. Just like in the legendary Firestar's stairs going upward. She used them just as stairs.

Crystalstar called Lightspirit and Yewfur up to the Highledge. She said to them,"Lightspirit, you have waited long enough to have an apprentice. Its is time you had one. Yewfur, get Glasskit. She will be Lightspirit's apprentice." Yewfur dashed of and returned with her kit.Glasskit was bouncing up and down with obvious excitement.  Hawktalon jumped off her ledge and then down onto the lowest ledge.Yewfur padded up the the Ceremony Ledge and stood at the back. Crystalstar took the other two to the Ceremony Ledge also. "Cats of ChaosClan! We are honored to have a new apprentice today." she said.rom this day forward,"She began, touching Glasskit on the shoulder with her tail tip. "This kit will be known as Glasspaw. Lightspirit, it is time you have an apprentice of you own. You will mentor Glasspaw."
