Reading the color ?

Is there a way to read what the color number is at a certain x/y location?
If there was, this would help with some itereative patterns i am working on.
Thanks,
D

Re: Reading the color ?

I don't think there is, sadly  sad

Are you trying to make fractals?

Re: Reading the color ?

I can think of one way but it is kind of fakey and will only have limited usefullness.

Make a 1 pixel sprite set to any color besides the one you are looking for. Move it to the x,y you want to search and then check if "color (of sprite) is touching color (looking for)

I foresee many limitations, the biggest being that you must code a separate check routine for each specific color you might be looking for. Peace.

aka Pain from DragonSpires, Delrith Online, BotBattle, Urban Dead etc etc lol
