upload problem with background scrolling test

This works fine at home before uploading and even after being downloaded. But online, my sprite images are distorted at the edges which appears as gaps. I'm using 4 sprites seamed up side by side to do the scrolling. It appears to be an error caused by playback in the browser maybe?
Thanks  smile

Re: upload problem with background scrolling test

Um, weird. I had tried reuploading it many times to no avail. I added a new sprite (non-background image) and re-upped and now it is working fine online! ?? ok.. that fixed it for now so thanks anyway I guess 8/

If your sprites are bigger than the stage (480x360), they get automatically scaled down by the Java player (online).  This might be causing your gaps...

Also, If you're using the "Size" setting to scale an object that will be ignored and the size will be set to the maximum possible size that fits the stage.

Re: upload problem with background scrolling test

my sprites were exactly 480x360 and I wasn't using any sizing/resizing. I altered seemingly unrelated parts of the code and the problem went away on every subsequent upload. Working like a charm now  smile  did I firget a link? duh... here is the latest version anyway...
