Let me rephrase what I said. Down here, gallons come in hard plastic containers, and anything smaller comes in cartons. I would post a pic but my computer is acting really slow right now >.>

Trees are a renewable resource - as long as you plant trees every time you cut some down, which most paper companies in fact do.

I am aware that the entire US is not obese. I'm not. Nearly everyone in school isn't.
A number in my town are, though. Generally, areas with higher temperature have people who are overweight. It's just too hot.
Plus, that post was a joke ._.

A thread about milk containers... And I thought I'd seen everything!
Our milk looks like that
I love Canada! I live there, if yuo didn't know
And about the milk cartons: They use cardboard, which cuts down trees, AND they coat it with some sort of thing to keep the carton from leaking which makes it harder to recycle, using more energy than it took to produce the carton in the first place, which pretty much defeats the purpose of recycling altogether. Our plastics bags ARE JUST PLASTIC - they aren't recyclable, but they use less energy!
And yeah, Canada is beautiful: wide, open expanses of beautiful, scenic, wonderful land. On the downside, we have to go outside for phys ed EVEN WHEN IT'S 0 DEGREES OUT - LIKE LAST WEEK.

I think you can recycle plastic. It's really not that cold, just global warming. Cold=REALLY COLD, Hot=REALLY HOT. We had a tornado touch down at vaughn mills shopping center at summer. Global warming caused it.

Oho, it's not supposed to be a high of 10 degrees at this time of year in Kitchener, is it? It's not supposed to never get up to the 30 in the summer, either eh? But that's what happened! It's been an exceptionally cold year...

No, it isn't.
Being American born, I find it really wierd that you guys have bags of milk. Never seen that before.
Canada Pro's:
- Free Health Care
- Lesser crime rate
- Less obese people
- No one really has a stereotype beyond Hockey for Canadians.
Canada Con's:
-Heavy Taxation
- Ice cold
-No one really knows much about Canada. (As in I never hear about it in history, or on the news)
- More Taxes.
- Did I say Big Taxes?
America Pro's:
- While people complain about taxes, its alot less than most other countries.
- Global power house. (Declining, but still a power)
- I really can't think of anything else... Thats really sad...
America Cons:
- The Obesity rate. Sucks for those people.
- Has a bad rep right now. (Not all of us are obese, or arrogant. Although, I can see who the stereotype comes from...)
- To many wars, needs to pull out.
-Major target for terrorism.
Anything else??
What are the stereotypes for countries that you do not live in but have heard of?

Don't even get me started on trying to do other countries. I know way too many. Here's an example. The capital of Molova is Chisinau. I am such a nerd.

Most places in Canada DO give you bags of milk, I don't know where you got that you didn't get bags of milk. The taxes here ARE NOT bad in the slightest, but then again, I don't pay them -_-. Besides, from what you save on taxes in America, you pay double in healthcare. It's also NOT cold here, only in the plains and the northern provinces. Most people live southern, so that's not an issue. Sure, it's a bit colder here, but it rarely goes below -20 Celcius in the winter, and MOST summers consist mostly of 27-30 degree days - I say most because this summer only spent about 2 or 3 days in that area. AND WE ARE ON THE NEWS! You just don''t notice us
And generally, prior to grade 9, history focusses on the country you are attending school in.
