I think there should be a screen that shows up as soon as a new Scratcher signs up.
It would say something like "Welcome to Scratch! We hope you have a wonderful experiance with the program and the Scratch website" at the top.
Below it would say some like "If you ever have a problem with the program or the website there is a list of links below that will take you to where you can be helped." Then below that it would have options ei Bullying and troubleshooting, and would take you to the troubleshooting forums or tell you what to do if you're being bullied.
I am suggesting this because many people quit or just get frustrated with scratch and the website, and they never knew there were forums or that you could report someone or ignore them.

Yes, but alot of Scratchers don't even bother to go to the forums. Some don't even know the forums are here.

I didn't know the forums were here until 08 and I joined in 07. I saw the big button that said forums, but for some reason it just never clicked... Am I stupid? lol

See that's what I'm talking about, people see the button and never click it, or they just don't see it for some reason.

People see 'Forums' and the first thing that pops into their head is:
"Oh no, a bunch of people who have tons of experience are talking about advanced things in here. I better stay away."
There should be some kind of link to the 'New Members' forum as they sign in for the first time, just like how it says "click here to download Scratch."
