Very cool! Here are some suggestions...
change the player sprite to look more like a trainee
can it scroll faster?
increase difficulty, I made it with 2 lives left on first try
Love the concept, keep up the good work! Go check put my RPG Battlefield game if you have a chance. Peace.
aka Pain from DragonSpires, Delrith Online, BotBattle, Urban Dead etc etc lol

I agree with Locomule, it's a very good game, although there are a few downsides:
It scrolls quite a bit too slow
The graphics are not the best, the could use some work.
I beat the game in around 5 minutes with all 3 lives on my first try, add more obstacles to make it more interesting.
If you make a #2, please consider fixing the things I listed ^^
