Re: Music help!!

To import a song to Scratch do the following:

1. Open Scratch
2. Choose the sprite or backgorund you want to have the music
3. When the sprite/background is selected press the sound tab
4. Press import
5. Navigate to the folder where your audio file is and select it, click OK
6. To play the sound use the sound blocks.
7. To compress all the sounds click the edit button and then "compress sounds" and then choose the level.

Hope that helped

Re: Music help!!

OK, here is how it works. When you open Scratch, you have various options. Go to a sprite (or the stage) and click the Sounds tab. There should be two buttons, record and import, as well as the default "meow sound". If you want to use your iTunes music, click import. Click on your account name on one of the buttons on the left. Go to "my music". It SHOULD be under that category somewhere.

If you have an error when you try to import it onto the project and it says something like "unsupported sound format", you will need to convert the music type (this typically occurs when using MIDI and WAV formats). Use a program like Switch (Google it). They have a free trial program which does the job pretty well.

I hope I could help!
