More freedom of use

I think we should be able to upload projects over 10 MB and the Scratch team should introduce something i call, Scratch certificate which is where you can choose weather your project is suitable for people of a certain age. I made a project and it was my master work that I spent days on and said it was only suitable for people over 12 years of age and the scratch team took it down. I was really cheesed off to see something that had so much effort, so much time wasted. Which is why i think scratch certificate is a good idea.<think[ about the freedom of scratchers ]for( just a few )secs> .Thankyou

Re: More freedom of use

I can understand your frustration...a lot of your hard work that won't be seen on this website.  Maybe you could make an all-ages version?

I'm not sure if a certificate would do much good...there is no way to verify that the people using the website are the ages they claim.  So the policy we have currently requires that all projects on the site be suitable for all ages.  Sorry  sad

10MB? That's a big chunk of space that the Scratch team gives you.

About the 10MB thing, if it was more than that, the server will get all slow and glitchy. Try compressing images and sounds, it will make it smaller.

There are 10 types of people in this world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't. --[insert unrelated transition]-- GRANDILOQUENCE FTW!
