Spottedkit padded over to Bloodkit "you okay?" he asked. "I don't know, Reedkit is my best friend , but lately it feels like he's ignoring me" she meowed sadly. "It'll by okay, hey, do you want to go exploring with me?" he asked shyly. "Sure, I'd like that thank you, but whitch way shall we go?" Bloodkit asked. "As long as I'm with you, I don't care where we go" he meowed. Bloodkit felt her fur get hot with embaressment, did Spottedkit really like her?

"Well, we could go to the lake" Spottedkit suggested. Bloodkit felt a flashback, of the lake when Claypaw was pulled under, but she still aggreed, maybe it would be better with her new friend by her side. "But one thing I must tell you, please promise me not to go fishing, my friend got pulled under by a huge fish last time I was at the lake" Bloodkit told him "I promise" he meowed. "Then lets be off" Bloodkit announced.

When they got there, Bloodkit jumped right into the water, Spottedkit needed some pushing, and splashing, and one dare. "I don't like to swim" he meowed " and why do you like to swim so much? Only WaterClan cats like to swim." "I guess I'm just a naturl swimer, I've always liked to swim, now please get into the water, I dare you."

Scince Spottedkit never backed down from a dare, he went into the water and spalshed Bloodkit right in the face. "What are you doing, I thought you didn't like to swim" Bloodkit teased him. "I never back down from a dare" he retorted, still woundering if she liked him, proboly not scince she is so interested in Reedkit. But what did he know?

"I think we should have a dare contest" declared Spottedkit. "Um........okay" Bloodkit said. "I dare you to catch me a fish" meowed Spottedkit. "Fine, but if I get pulled under by a fish the size of a badger, it's your fault" she called as she padded over to the water and quickly caut a small fish. "That good enough for ya?" asked Bloodkit. "Delisous" he meowed. "Now I dare you to.......um............hm................swim to that big rock say 'I'm a big mouse-brain' and come back" she dared him, no one was around to see him do that and she would get a kick outa' that. "Okay fine, I will" as he jumped into the water, the big rock was only two tail-lengths away, so he quickly got to the rock. He climb on to the big rock and shouted to the world "I'm a big mouse-brain" and swam back. "Thank you" Bloodkit meowed through her laughter.

"Okay, your turn" Bloodkit said. "I dare you to kiss me" he challenged her. "Okay, there are a lot of things I will do, but I just met you." she would not kiss him, one because she liked Reedkit more and 2 she liked Spottedkit, but she didn't want to ruin the new friendship. "Okay, but then you need to tell me a sceret, I promise not to tell" Spottedkit meowed. "Okay.........um well...both of my sisters ran away from the Clan" she meowed softly. "Do you miss them?" asked Spottedkit. "No, they were really mean" she repiled
