How do you create a game with scrolling and shooting
I am not yet sure on how to do this I need all the help I can get because i am trying to create a halo game including scrolling shooting enemies and the whole shabang

Don't try to run before you can walk.
Get to grips with the basics of scratch first, then try to develop these things yourself as your understanding improves.
Come up with a scrolling code and if it doesn't work, ask people to help.
You will get more out of your project if it is your own code - even with some help - than if you just get given everything - if you are just given everyhting, you will find it very hard to understand it and thus won't be able to modify it for your own game.

besides, that script makes the charecter move, not the background.(unless the background is a sprite for the scrolling) that also cannot have momentum.

Well first make a sidescrolling system where you only sidescroll left and right. To scroll right you would half to touch the right edge of the screen and to scroll left you would half to touch the left edge of the screen. And to shoot you would just click. You could add ammo and stuff if you want. Also there would half to be a limit to how far you can scroll left and right, and some enemies.

Make a variable: Health
Make a sprite: bullet (Do something to make it look like a bullet. A black line will do.)
Bullet Scripts:
1.When<space key clicked>- show- go to (your character)- repeat until [<touching edge> or <touching (enemy sprite)]- move (2) steps- hide
2. When flag clicked- set health to 10- hide-forever- if <touching (enemy sprite)>- change health by -1
That's about it. There are more advanced ways, but this is the easiest way.

Well archmage, I guess both of ours make what he/her was looking for. Just he didn't ask for something specific, so ours are both different.
