Re: Tweens And Kids Club!

I'm 13. Who says I can't use this wonderful program? Also,

Wikipedia wrote:

Scratch is an interpreted dynamic visual programming language based on and implemented in Squeak. (...) Being dynamic, it lets code be changed even as programs are running. It has the goal of teaching programming concepts to children and teens and letting them create games, videos, and music.

(...)

Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills.

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scratch_programming_language

And anyways, anyone can use the program as they want. So you're completely wrong on Scratch being made just for kids and tweens.

Re: Tweens And Kids Club!

When you type in Scratch.mit in google you get this under the link: Scratch: a programming language for everyone. Create interactive stories, games, music and art - and share them online.

Re: Tweens And Kids Club!

Scratch is for any age groups - There are a lot of kids on Scratch, as well as teenagers and a handful of adults. I think there are a lot more kids than teenagers or adults...
