Re: Have scratch disowned softboard?

I want to clarify, Softboard is based on Scratch. IT IS NOT SCRATCH. Anyway, don't take Scratch for granted. It took years and years to develop(they started in the 1990s)! So don't expect it coming anytime soon.  smile

Re: Have scratch disowned softboard?

I just told you, it doesn't take a second to update it, just like that!

It's not Scratch, no relations, not Scratch Team, so ask Samsung.

As I wrote:

Unfortunately, since Softboard is NOT a division of Scratch, Samsung has its own rights to keep it running or not. It seems they think it doesn't continue. You can maybe ask one of the Scratch Team about Scratch Mobile, and you could even grab a beta(if it exists). I still wouldn't use Softboard, because

1. The HTTPS:// link on the login has expired. That is NOT a good sign.

2. It it supremely outdated.

3. I may be a bit insulting but Samsung wants money, not recognition. Scratch is for that.

4. Samsung's version isn't the best.

5. The JAR files are usually too big for your phone anyway.

There you go. That's the best I can tell you.   smile
