Recently I just though of something.
Paint has it, Photoshop has it, in fact nearly every drawing program allows you to type in a hex code eg: #FFFFFF #DCDCDC etc: To get a colour on screen easily.
Not only would this make remembering exactly where you clicked on the giant list easier, it would meen if you didn't know exactly what shade of green you wanted then you could look online and find it etc:.
So why not implement this feature into Scratch and make colour an easier thing to use

That would be awesome! Anything with Hex Codes are useful.

It would only be useful, if you knew which one you wanted!

Yeah! I hate how limited the colors on the paint editors are. I do all my sprites in microsoft paint, just for the color selection!

And with this you will be able to find out the hex code to certain items.

Guys, you can pick them in the paint editor
click it and you get this

You can pick them, but you can't actually identify there hex.
The hex code is what identifies the certain shade of the colour you choose.
Eg:
#FFFFFF is white
#DCDCDC is Gainsbro
#000000 is black
It would be useful to know exactly which colour you choose so that you can remember it for future use or to be able to look at a hex code chart on the internet like this one here

I like the idea. Just make sure to mention that you're also able to input a hex code, not just find out what it is. I support!

I support!! I would like it if they added a lot more tools into the paint editor too.

If this allows for saturation, I support ^^ But we should make it so that it's easy to access all the colours, even if you don't know the hex code (MS Paint style colourpicker perhaps? I mean with varying saturations and colours in a palette, plus something to control the tint/tone )
