I don't get what the source really is. click here I want to develope the 'flip' block as described how by jens right here click here but I don't know how to open the source code, is the source download thingymabob what I am looking for?
please reply.

midnightleopard, setting up the Source Code of Scratch is not really self explanatory. I have tried to come up with a simple how-to here:
