Outside Scratch

On the Scratch website I think there should be a section for things outside scratch like, uh, the project that a certain Scratch member (whos name escapes me) made to help with their science project (even though that totally deserved featured anyway) , about a... book that someone thought was good, maybe? and mine and torterras gaming based projects? From another persons point of view I can tell this sounds lame but it's definately fun to gather people and play games over Wi-Fi or whatever and talk about new releases but this is my point of view. Obviously the world doesn't revolve around me so it would be nice to know other peoples opinions.

Re: Outside Scratch

Yea it is really fun to battle my friends on scratch... but your never up for a battle!!! (sorry got a little side tracked...) I dont really understand that well... do you mean we should make projects to share your interests with others...

Re: Outside Scratch

yeah, i get your point and it is a perfectly valid one.you are right about the fun of being able to discuss the wi-fi (ect.) however, this is a website devoted to scratch.on a different note, the scratch member's name was forcemaster. if you want to discuss pokemon wi-fi stuff, i sugest veekun.com.

Re: Outside Scratch

im torterra and i REALLY support this message!

I think that we should have an offtopic fourm section that could be expressed like this -> "whats going on at my school" or "I found this really cool website" ect. just stuff nonscratch related.

P.S. I already know your answer.

Re: Outside Scratch

I think the scratch website don't needs an offtopic section - it is too off topic. A site has to keep it's topic.

Re: Outside Scratch

I sort of agree with JSO on this one:

[blocks]
<broadcast[ find off topic stuff
  <(  <{ off topic stuff  }> <=> to much to say )>
[/blocks]

but, if we do it, with luck all off topic stuff will go there and have none on the projects.

then you would have to take off the starters comment on this thread and that would result in the whole thing going away because he said " NINTENDO RULES"

We have an off topic section.

It is called "The rest of the internet".

Re: Outside Scratch

Well, I was thinking a section under 'Most viewed' ? I would make it a gallery but gallerys fail, they don't attract attention so it'll just be egnored.

Instead of posting off-topic comments on the forums, you can make projects about topics that you like  ;-)
